Producer: Pelassa is a distinguished family estate in Verduno, one of Barolo's eleven communes, where the San Lorenzo vineyard sits on prime south-facing slopes. 

This wine captures the classic character of Nebbiolo with Verduno's signature finesse and aromatic complexity. The ancient calcareous marl soils of San Lorenzo impart distinctive mineral depth and refined tannins. With a few years of bottle age, this Barolo is beginning to reveal the tertiary complexity that makes these wines so captivating, whilst retaining the structure to develop beautifully over the coming decades.
